History

Let us introduce our company:

In the early 1980's, Mark Burlingame was well experienced in the trades, after working concrete and building houses with his father, but his passion was to be a plumber. Due to the economy, however, he was not able to sign on with the union as an apprentice. A representative from the plumbing department for the state of Illinois encouraged him to get his plumbing license a different route through attending a trade school called Rankin Technical in St Louis. Initially, this seemed like a more expensive and difficult route, but in the long run, Mark learned much more had he only served an apprenticeship. He was taught several different ways of doing plumbing for every issue instead of just one way. Armed with an excellent education coupled with his all around knowledge and skill Mark came up with two mottos: "Nothing but the Best," and "Do it once, do it right."

In 1984 Mark married Janice, who had already graduated with a degree in business and accounting. Together in 1985 they incorporated Burlingame Plumbing Inc and have been a family operated business for over 28 years, which now includes sons Zach and Jake. In December of 2013 Jack from D'Andrea Plumbing retired and began referring all of his customers over to Burlingame Plumbing.
